Who Are We Looking For?

A Technical Engineer Fire Safety with a passion for technology who speaks and writes Dutch and English fluently. You enjoy advising customers on the correct applications of our passive firestopping products. Supporting our technical department with tasks such as processing documentation and preparing fire tests is also part of your role.

You have an HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, or equivalent through knowledge, insight, and experience. Technical knowledge or curiosity is crucial for this position. Above all, we value your skills, affinities, and enthusiasm.

Who Are We?

Mulcol International is a modern developer of innovative passive firestopping products. Our fundamental goal is to develop and test pragmatic, effective, and installation-friendly products and solutions in compliance with the latest European standards.

Your Challenge:

Our European customers will rely on you for all their (technical) questions and requests regarding fire-resistant seals. With your language skills, you can communicate with customers in English, German, or Dutch, providing them with technical advice. You can substantiate your recommendations both verbally and in writing, ensuring clarity for the customer. You will be our bridge to the European market.

We conduct many fire tests annually, and you will support the preparation and data processing for these tests. You’ll maintain contact with European (test) institutes and laboratories, ensuring compliance with European regulations. Do you enjoy occasionally rolling up your sleeves? We continuously develop new products and services; you will work with your colleagues on updates to documentation, drawings, etc. You’ll help keep our European reports up to date, making it easy for our customers to find the latest products and solutions.

What Will You Do?

• Respond to technical questions by phone and in writing
• Prepare, supervise, and process data from (fire) tests
• Create, update, and provide technical documentation
• Ensure the quality of documentation, website, and database
• Offer technical support

What Do We Expect From You?

• Fluency in Dutch, English, and preferably German
• Experience in the passive fire prevention industry (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Illustrator, CAD/3D programs (preferred)
