In 2018, the construction work for the NoordDock project was started. This development aims to keep Amsterdam accessible for young, first-time home buyers. The upper floors of this impressive three-part structure offer a beautiful view out over the IJ river. The NoordDok will accommodate 309 social housing units with all the associated facilities, such as a bicycle parking area and parking garage for 26 vehicles, available. Commercial spaces have also been created, such as business units, bars and restaurants.
