Reference projects

The renovation of Campus Gasthuisberg of the University Hospital (UZ) in Leuven is one of the largest hospital projects in Belgium. The campus was set up in the 1970s and covers 200,000 m² today. It includes an outpatient hospital, a general hospital and a scientific research lab. Expansion of the campus ring road will guarantee mobility and allow continued growth of the complex in the future.

The Chapel Wharf consists of 4 towers with 12-22 floors and contains 995 apartments. It has a central location next to the five star Lowry Hotel and within walking distance of the Spinningfields business district. In addition to the apartments, the Chapel Wharf also has walkways, new public areas and parking for almost 400 cars. The developer Dandara creates a Manhatten style by removing the traditional corridors in the apartments.

In 2018, the construction work for the NoordDock project was started. This development aims to keep Amsterdam accessible for young, first-time home buyers. The GAK building overlooks the rural ‘Bos en Lommerplantsoen’ gardens in Amsterdam-West. When its doors opened in 1960, the building was one of the most modern offices in the Netherlands. This multifunctional project is developed by Allan Murray architects and includes 850,000 square ft of shops, a luxury hotel, 150 flats, 30 catering establishments and a cinema. This is the main shopping destination of the Scottish capital and the new heart of the city.

The MECD project is one of the largest construction projects realised by any higher education institution in the UK. The MECD houses four engineering schools, several research institutes and thousands of students and staff. It also has advanced technologies, laboratories and interactive learning environments. The MECD has 8 floors and a floor area of 76,000 m2.

The RAI hotel in Amsterdam will be the largest hotel in the Benelux. In addition to 650 hotel rooms, the 91-metre-high building also houses special facilities such as a sky bar, spa, sculpture garden and a television studio. Underneath the hotel will be a parking garage with 200 spaces, and a retail and restaurant area on the ground floor.
